Stop. Breathe. Cry if you must.

I was waiting for months to go to Nomada Super Market, that is taking place in Madrid the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of october. I was so happy and excited because some of my favourite designers (such as Lady Desidia, I absolutely adore their works) would go, and I would also meet one of the organizers, Bea from Con dos bolsas en cada mano (she's so nice, thanks for everything).
But I couldn't attend.

My brother-in-law's father died yesterday night of cancer. He was seriously ill, terminal and we all knew this would happen this days, so after all, he's not suffering anymore and he is finally resting in peace. Now we all are doing is to show our support to my brother-in-law (and his family) and my sister, and that's what we did today. I'm very sad for him, and my niece too (she's too young - only 3 years old) and doesn't know anything about this, so tomorrow I'll have to stay home and look after her (and also looking after my grandma), playing, while the others are at the funeral.

I didn't want to talk about this in the blog, because I've always tried to make *happy* posts or write about things that should do others smile. But I just can't be false and ignorate what is going on in my life now, so I wrote it since this is a personal blog too and I want to be sincere with what I write.

I always think that knowing how to enjoy little things/details ("every day joys") are what make our life happier. I try to remember it every day and be thankful for what I have, and today it came out too. It may seem obvious but I think a lot of people don't know how to enjoy little things we all have in our lives. We all have problems, but we also have something to smile at everyday, it could be our family, friends, a child taking your hand and saying a true "I love you", or a *simple* sunset. It's not on how big you think your problems are (and how little are other people problems? hate when people think that way), I think all depends on how you face your reality and your problems, in which direction you focus your energy and thoughts.
